Christine Calacsan

Attorney

Christine joined Candelaria LLP’s Trusts and Estates Practice in March 2025. She brings experience in immigration law and criminal defense, with a background that has shaped her thoughtful, client-centered approach to legal work. Her skills in legal analysis, advocacy, and navigating complex systems translate seamlessly to helping clients make informed decisions about their estates, long-term planning, and the probate process.

Before joining the firm, Christine served as an Immigration Attorney at nonprofits in San Diego and Columbus, where she supported Afghan parolees and worked closely with U.S. agencies and consulates. She also worked as a Public Defender in Louisville, KY, representing clients in all stages of the criminal justice process.

Originally from Southern California, Christine earned her B.S. in Psychobiology from UCLA and her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. She’s excited to help clients with their estate planning needs and to call the Bay Area home.
